RYDER CUP RETURNS TO THE BELFRY

The 34th Ryder Cup Matches were held on the Brabazon Course at The Belfry in Wishaw, Warwickshire, England.

Glenmuir worked with Glenmuir Ambassador and European Ryder Cup Captain Sam Torrance in designing the European Ryder Cup Team Shirts and Knitwear.

EUROPE REGAIN THE RYDER CUP

The European Team won with 15½ to the US Team's 12½, the largest winning margin in the Ryder Cup since the European Team won 16½ to 11½ in 1985, also played at The Belfry. The decisive ½ point was secured by Paul McGinley in his match against Jim Furyk after he holed a 10 foot putt for par on the final green.

Glenmuir Ambassador Sam Torrance captained Europe to victory, 17 years after holing the winning putt at the same venue. The European Ryder Cup Team wore Glenmuir Belfry Golf Shirts and Cashmere Golf Knitwear.
