RYDER CUP IN WALES FOR THE FIRST TIME

The 38th Ryder Cup was held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales on the newly constructed Twenty Ten course.

Glenmuir worked with Scotsman and European Team Captain Colin Montgomerie in designing matching Shirts and Sweaters for each day of the competition, including practice days. Before captaining Europe, Colin Montgomerie played in 36 matches at 8 previous Ryder Cups and was unbeaten in all singles matches.

EUROPE REGAIN THE RYDER CUP

Europe regained the Ryder Cup with 14½ point to the American's 13½, Europe's sixth victory in the last eight Ryder Cups.

Not since 1991 at Kiawah Island had The Ryder Cup been decided in such breathtaking fashion by the last of 12 singles matches. Graeme McDowell secured a 3&1 victory on the 17th against Hunter Mahan allowing Europe to regain the Ryder Cup.
